UMS Day 4: The End

I love this city. It may feel like a small town at times, but we have a music scene to proove otherwise. Over the four day indie-music orgie of UMS we’ve seen (and enjoyed) everything from americana & country, through shoegaze and psychadelic rock, to some brilliant post-punk noise (and a fair number of strange mashups in between). I wish I could do it all again.

I’ve been a fan of Broken Spirits, Land Lines, and Kitty Crimes for some time now. Porlolo, In the Whale, Blonde Redhead, and Gora Gora were all very entertaining. But the lucky surprise of the night was wandering past Eslinger Gallery on our way home, and discovering the wonderful noise of Emerald Siam.

Thank you, Denver!
